    well, it varies according to the phone you use. On many phones, if you see a yellow bell next to it, you can delete the tone right there on the phone. If there is a green boxk around the yellow bell then you can't delete it on the phone. the best way i know of to delete those ringtones is to go use Bitpim to access the ringtones in the file system and delete them directly form there. If you need help finding them in the filesystem you can private message me and i'll show you where to go.

    I just purchased a wave and was wondering if it is possible to delete the standard ringtones the phone comes with so that I can put more of my own ringtones on the phone.
