    Trust, it's not the train giving off the soot. Because this happened twice. The first time, I thought it was maybe I touched something dirty on the train. The second time, thats when I knew it came from that hot cell phone. I am starting to believe the black panel display is the culprit and that it's shedding when heat is applied to it.

    I have a unique situation. My Sprint phone has been giving off this black soot the last two times I have used it on a train for an hour. Everytime I finish a long call, my hand is laced with thick, black, grainy, soot. What the hell is that?! I am concerned. Is it magnets coming from the battery?
