I have just purchased a sch-r610 from Sasktel and have followed the manual and instructions located in this forum. The only reply I get when I try to play music downloaded from my PC is that the format of the music is not supported. Help!!!

If you wanna listen to music its quite simple actually. I also have hte same phone under a 3 year contract with bell, and to listen to music you must first have your memory card put into your SD slot. After you have it in your micro SD slot you can connect it to your pc via the usb cable that came with it. Do what the above post said. After connecting, there should be a popup where you can choose a variety of actions. For now, choose the option that allows you to open the folder to view contents, afterwards, go to hte folder where all your music is located and just drag and drop. Once that is finished, close everything and on your phone select done so that its not connected to the computer anymore. now to listen to your music you have to go to menu, go to entertainment, go to your memory card, go to file manager, and select memory card again. There should be alist of all the music that you have put on =)

I have recently purchased a samsung SCH-r610 from Bell and have a contract with them. When looking at the phone I was suprised to find out that the music player is connected to the internet. I do not have an internet plan and therefor cannot listen to music. Is there any way to use the MP3 player in the phone without having to connect to the internet?
