I had this same problem today when trying to put the card in for the first time. I had to have the guy at the kiosk show me, how embarassing.
It's a tricky little sucker to get in there, and keep it in there, but if you're gentle and push it in til it clicks, it'll stay.
    Good luck.

Try pushing it, then holding onto it for 5 seconds, then close the lid.

Keep in mind that the tiny tin latches that hold the MicroSD card in place are very fragile, mine popped off when I applied a little too much pressure.

I had this problem too with 2 seperate phones. I realized how dumb I was 4 months after I bought it holding my SD closed with tape.... realizing that I wasn't pushing the SD card in far enough. Try pushing the SD card deep inside as far as you can. Dont worry its not going to get stuck because its spring loaded.

I assume this is for your vx9900? Might want to take it to customer service to get it fixed.

I'm sorry if this is a post that's come up. I was wondering if anyone has encountered the problem I have. My LG enV's micro sd closure doesn't close b/c of the card not latching in when put in. I've ended up just wrapping a rubber band around the phone after I'd put it back in my phone. It'll also randomly pop out when I'm txt'ing. Is there a solution other than going to a verizon store to get them to fix it? It's like an hour and a half drive and I hardly have time to make a trip just for my phone.

Any help or replies are appreciated. If anything else I'll suffer with the rubber banding until I get a time to run to the closest store.
