The ethics are between you and your maker.

If you get the phone you will need to unlock it for ATT. Just google "unlock blackberry" or search this forum.

Your phone is GSM and will only work on ATT or T-mobile only. Verizon is a CDMA carrier.

T-Mobile will not work for Verizon.... T-Mobile is a "sim" phone as-is ATT Verizon is not.

I have Tmobile right now and my plan goes until next April. I am moving to a different location for the military for about 6 months coming in October. The tmobile reception sucks and verizon and AT&T have the best in that area. Tmobile has said once i get my orders i can just fax those in and i wouldn't get the 200 dollar penalty for ending my contract early. If i wanted to upgrade through them for another two years to get the blackberry curve(if they let me), then in 3 months turn in my orders ending my extended contract. So I would pretty much have a new phone and can go to Verizon or AT&T and just pay by the month...is that possible?
