What IM software was it?

Also as quick things to try I would take the battery out and put it back in to do a hard reset and see if this helps. If not then I would try removing the program all together and then reinstalling it.

If these do not correct the issue then let me know what IM software it is and exactly what the error message says when it pops up.

i have recently downloaded IM software for my dad's phone. it worked for a couple of days, but now it has stopped working. whenever I use it, giving some “exception” sort of error. don’t know what exactly does that mean. any solution on this?
