NVBackup has a handy option of selective restore. You can just restore certain files or programs you know not to be the problem or to help determine which program is causing the problem. I had to do this with my Treo 650 while on vacation one time. No pc around, just had to selectively restore a few programs at a time until I determined which one was causing the problem. In combination with the phones crash log, it can be done without a pc all together.

NVBackup is an excellent tool, but if you backup becaues of the problem, Hard reset, then backup with NVBackup, you are back where you started.
I keep my phone apps to a minimum, most everything is stored on my 8 GB micro SD card.
And a copy of that card on my PC or elsewhere.
I use NVBackup and Hotsync regularly.

Please this is very important, I am loosing documents , I need to know how . I don't want to have to pay palm for support ($14.95) I don't think it's right that they charge and besides we have so many people in these forums that have the knowledge necessary, and I would much rather say "Than You" to them for helping then paying a big corporation.

Will a hard reset fix the O/S as well as phone functions?
