Do you really not trust your daughter or what is the issue? How do you know her phone is not really messing up? If you want her to keep in contact with you tell her that she needs to make an effort and have a check in time. Like every few hours she has to call you or whatever you think is reasonable.

Even better idea... follow her around and call her, then see how she responds or reacts to the calls

She might be ignoring you unless she is out of service when you call and then phones will frequently ring once or twice before going to voicemail. I would go out to where she says she is going and see if you have service to prove the theory.

Say its two complete rings then maybe its the phone thats dropping the phoen calls after two rings. If you get cut off when listening to the phone "ringing" then its you being ignored by pressing the "busy" button while being called.

Texting she might not be lying.
I texted my moms fine once with her phone being right beside mine and it came an hour later. But that happens rarely, most likely once every 200 texts or something. I text my friends phones all the time and it has fast responses.. could be the phone being fast too.

    Hope this helps.

moved this from scams to general forum - that is in less your daughter is scamming more than just you - haha

Why not just check her received txt messages? (if she's smart she's already deleted them) Depending on your service I believe you can ask for more detailed txt activity in addition to regular call information.

My 13 yr old daughter has had her cell phone for three months and we agreed that I would allow her to have one if we kept in better contact when she was with her friends. Nothing crazy just a text "how are you doing" "who are you with" etc. Sometimes I call her too. Recently it seems she has been ignoring me. She claims that she does not recieve all of my texts and frequently doesnt answer her phone. Sometimes I call and I hear a couple rings then it goes to her voicemail? I know there is an ignore feature on her phone. Is she using it on me!!?? She says she doesnt recieve all my texts because she's dropped her phone a few times and texting doesnt always work. I don't believe this at all because when I send the texts it says "message sent" with a check mark. Sometimes when texts dont send it says "unable to send". Does this mean shes also ignoring my txts or could she legitimately have a problem with her phone?
