read this blog in UK http://www.markwilson.co.uk/blog/200...ce-swindle.htm, im pretty sure i've heard a company in US that sells phone insurance.

if your iphone is lost, got wet and doesn't work anymore...
the best thing that i can suggest is go get one.

    minkman is right.

Best thing to do is get the iPhone App: Rewarding Return

They'll ship your lost iPhone back to you for free.

search for "lost phone recovery" in the app store

    Wet - you're in trouble.

Lost or Stolen? RewardingReturn dot com

They've gotten me my lost iPhone back TWICE already.

It's better than any insurance mumbo jumbo you can find. They don't replace your iPhone, they get you YOUR phone back. Good thing too, b/c those nudey pictures of my GF would have causes some drammmmaaaaa

you won't regret checking it out. trust

you can check with home insurance and they can insure the phone for you. I believe I was quoted a rate of 30 CDN a year to insure the iphone 16GB.

I'm not into all the bullet proof looking cases that people put on the DARE, unless you work construction or you use your DARE in hazardous conditions, I think those cases take away the look and feel of the DARE.

I guess there's some justification in protecting your phone, i just don't like the look of them, compared to the look of the DARE without the case. Everyone has their priorities, personal taste and reasons, go for it.

If you lose your iphone can AT&T send a bullet to it to erase all of your data?

I have Cingular. Currently, I have a V3xx Razor. I was having trouble with
my keypad ( no insurance ), so I stopped in @ the local Cingular store to
check out the new I-phone. Considered buying one (3G) @ $300.00,
(4G) @ $400.00. This price was only good if I was eligable to "renew" my
contract. Well, I'm about 7 months short.

When I asked about I-phone insurance, I was told 1 year replacement.
After that, your on your own. No insurance available.

I was able to find a replacement keypad for my Razor on e-bay. Now it works fine.

I do spend a lot of time on the internet, and thought the I-phone would
work a lot better for me in that regard, but I don't need it that bad!
