I am not quite clear on whether you want to stay with a V557, if you do there are many brand new unlocked ones on E-Bay for around $100 - $120 and the used ones from $50 - $70. These are great price in my opinion.

PS: The person I sold my V557 to 2.5 years back is still using it problen-free.

I concur with Charlyee, from personal experience, with LG phones that is.

I am a Nokia person myself, unfortunately AT&T has not been carrying too many Nokias, that I like, lately.

In view of that, Motorola would be my next recommendation unless one wanted to go into SmartPhones.

Though the Moto E8 has not been released by any carrier, it has been available through independent cellphone stores, but like it was mentioned, sounds like the OP is looking for a flip phone.

Have you heard of the new Motorokr E8? it is the new Motorola Phone that combines music and videos. its also has access to over 200 Online Music stores and right now Motorola is giving away free ringtones from Marie Digby, David Ford, Saul Ashyby, William Fitzsmmons, Priscilla Ahn and Sara Bareilles you would be able to get a motorola phone as well as free rintones check it out at the Motorola Website and search for E8

I have AT&T for service and have been using a Mororola V557 phone but now it has died. I need to replace it with another flip phone, but this V557 is a piece of garbage! I would like to stay with Motorola if I can.

Any ideas on where to look for a decent used or refurbished phone?
