Ok its fixed. I called them up and they gave me a PUK code which also let me make a new PIN.

PUK is your personal password, the only way to retrieve the new one is get a new simcard or call customer service...i recommend taking your phone into a store and aksing for their help

I was trying to send a friend some of my songs from my Samsung SGH-T629 and realized that I had forgotten my PIN number. Im 100% sure that I changed it from the default when I first recieved it. So then after realising that I forgot my password I went to security settings to the "change PIN" option. It said that "PIN check" must be enabled to check your password. So I went to "PIN check" and it required my old PIN number so I tried guessing it a few times. Eventually it said 1 try left, and on the last try I typed in 98765, which worked. Then I went back to the "change PIN" option in the menu and tried 98765 as the required old PIN number. Suprisingly it didnt work so I thought I had made a mistike like 98785 or something like that. After a few more guesses that were close to 98765 it reached the limit and moved on to a "enter PUK" thing. So then I tried to back out by pressing the back key, but it didnt work so I was forced to turn off my cell then back on. Upon turning it on I recieved the "enter PIN" thing since I had turned it on ian the settings. Unfortunatly my supposed PIN number, 98765, didnt work and once again I ran out of guesses. After that the only options were "enter PUK" and "SOS" which is an emergency help call. I tried every option you could think of to get to my phone menu but nothing worked. So I was forced to just turn off my cell phone. Now when I turn it on it says "PIN blocked call customer care" and in the bottom right of my screen it says "PUK" for the "enter PUK" option when I select it, there is the option of entering a PUK or SOS call. I still dont know what a PUK is and how am I supposed to call customer care when I cant call any one. Please help.
