I went into the T-mobile store today because my phone was stolen recently, and I talked to one of the representatives. He told me it was possible to get insurance on a phone that is purchased on eBay or Craigslist. My question is how I would prove to them what phone I purchased? It seems I could simply tell them that I had the newest Blackberry stolen from me, and would only have to pay the deductible in order to receive a new one.
