I have used both phones and read a lot of stats on both. If you are simply wanting a really cool touch screen phone that has some nifty features above the standard Verizon phone, then by all means the Dare is hard to beat! The Dare has received top ratings from all reviews, pretty much and feels really comfortable in the hand when using it! If you are wanting a smartphone for the PDA aspect, then the XV6900 is the only option. Also, as you have already mentioned it has the ability to allow 3rd party apps for really cool customization that you can't do with the dare. Plus, the XV6900 is now $99 with your $100 New-Every-Two Verizon discount if ordered online, (same price as the Dare) If you are not going to be surfing the web or sending out e-mails on the phone and just want phone, SMS/MMS and/or PDA functionality, then their is no worry about data plan purchase, just deciding between the basic usage that you'll need! DO NOT let Verizon local stores tell you that you have to have a data plan! They tell everybody that where I live and it is false! I called Verizon direct and asked them. The Blackberry smartphones have to have a data plan, not either of these two phones.

Guess no one has any experience with both phones?

Everytime I choose the dare I always go back to say the vx6900 is like the iphone, I can add programs and things to it. Then I says its more of a bussiness phone the dare is just a simple phone.

    Any suggestions?

Yea this one of the thinks that is making me second guess my decision. Both phones are what I want. They both have a good web browser which is most important to me and are both touch screen.

I am going to have to think long and hard or wait till December to see if new phones come out.

Please if this is the wrong forum, feel free to move it.

So I am looking for a new cell phone. Something with a touch screen. I came across the LG Dare and the 6900. I like them both but there both unique and completely different phones.

I like the fact that the dare is basically a phone and is simple and sleek.
I like that fact that the 6900 is more like an iphone/computer. I can
download new apps/programs and its like a mobile computer.

I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with these two phones or can suggest another phone?
