    Not very useful.
T-mobile coverage is not as good as my former provider: Verizon; at least in my areas. Unfortunately, even using their map does not reflect that while traveling down the interstate (I-84 west of Newburgh) where there appear to be towers all along the way, signal is lost and calls are lost.
In my home, they had to provide me with a booster just to be able to use the phone: map identifies use as moderate: You should usually be able to place calls outdoors, occasionally in a car, but only sometimes indoors.

I am not satisfied with their service.

To boot, when porting my SD numbers to my new phone, they indicate that they could not do it (no significant SD service available or some such)

They advertise excellent customer care, well I guess poor is better than bad, which is the level provided by Verizon.

To be sure, I would not recommend T-mobile.

Oh, and on the front relating to use of the phone as a tether for internet connection, whether it is the Motorola Defy problem, or their service, connection keeps getting dropped, even though I have a strong 3G signal.

I'm not sure about tower location accuracy or anything like that. But, I'm from Texas and there's a video on youtube with the new G2 and network service compared to AT&T's iphone4 at [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJNZl7t7ws4]YouTube - G2 vs iPhone 4 Showdown (G2 review)[/VIDEO] that I personally found very useful.

Thank you. I do agree that house to house coverage would be nice, lol.

Awesome but hopefully they have more specific coverage as in house to house.
