Hi and thanks for your opinion, but I had the LG ENV2 before this phone, and I actually noticed an increase in picture quality in the Samsung from the LG, aside from the same mega pixel size.

And although the screen is rather small compared to an iPhone or Voyager, but this should sill not affect how it works. Why can't they just make the calibration more precise so it actually reads where my finger touches? Is there something I'm missing here?

The Samsung Glyde's display is too small to do its touch interface justice. Also, the photo quality is poor, and the e-mail support isn't easy to use.

Hi guys, first post here. Anyway, I have a Samsung Glyde, and phone is really neat, small, and has some nice features. But the touchscreen is driving me NUTS.

Upon a quick Google search, I read if you take the phone to Verizon they have a free update, that updates some of the firmware, including the touch screen, so I got it.

But even after this update, the screen still bugs out on me. It all starts when i try to unlock the phone, and it is basically unresponsive. The "touch to unlock" does nothing, so I flip open the keyboard, and in this way, the touch screen doesn't really read ANY touches. So I close it back up, and every time I touch the screen, anywhere, it 'touches' the bar on the bottom and opens that menu, and will do that until I wait it off (makes no sense) or reset the phone.

Also, sometimes when typing a message using the keyboard, and not touching the screen at all, I can feel it 'registering' touches and vibrating, and sometimes even scrolling.

I have tried every sensitivity so I'm sure thats not the issue. Anyone else have any other ideas/tips that could fix this? Is this just the way the phone is? Is the phone busted and should I try to have it replaced. Thanks in advanced for any much appreciated help.

EDIT: I just want to add that this is NOT the permanent state of the phone, it comes and goes whenever it pleases.
