    Here is something I put together for you guys. If you need any help let me know

    Blackberry Phone as a modem

    Requirements:
    -Blackberry desktop manager installed
    -USB cable
    -The total blackberry internet plan 19.99

    Prerequisites:
    Insure the blackberry desktop manager is currently running with the blackberry phone plugged in via the usb cable. Insure the Blackberry desktop manager is showing connected

    **NOTE that this is a set up for any blackberry phone on Tmobile’s network**

    Win XP
    >Click Start
    >Go to control panel
    >Open phone and modem options (computer needs to be in classic view)
    >Go to the modems tab
    >Right click the Standard modem and go to properties
    >Go to the advanced tab
    >For the extra initialization command type in the following:
    At+cgdcont=1,”IP”,”wap.voicestream.com”

    The internet 2 and 3 are dependent on the provisioning on your account
    >Click ok and go back to the control panel
    >Double click the network connections
    >Click on create a new connection. If you don’t see this, click file, new connection
    >When the set up wizard appears, click next 2 times
    >Click set up my connection manually and click next 2 times
    >Make sure the only modem that’s checked is the Standard modem then click next
    >ISP name= T-mobile click next
    >Dial up number is *99# click next
    >Leave the username/password blank. Make sure the 2 check boxes are unchecked
    >Click next and finish
    >When the dial box appears, click dial and you should get connected


    Win Vista
    >Click Start
    >Go to control panel
    >Open phone and modem options (computer needs to be in classic view)
    >Go to the modems tab
    >Right click the Standard modem and go to properties
    >Click on the change settings button then go the advanced tab
    >For the extra initialization command type in the following:
    At+cgdcont=1,”IP”,”wap.voicestream.com”
    The internet 2 and 3 are dependent on the provisioning on your account
    >Click ok and go back to the control panel
    >Double click the network and sharing center
    >Click on set up a new connection or network (Left hand side of screen)
    >Click connect to the internet and press next
    >Click on set up using a dial up connection.
    >Click on the Motorola USB modem
    >Dial up number is *99# leave username/pass blank and change the connection name from dial up to T-mobile. Then press connect and you’re all set







    Common error messages with the blackberry!

    Error 692- Either the extra initialization command is incorrect or the blackberry desktop manager is not running
    Error 718/721- The blackberry’s firmware needs to be updated. Remove the battery 1-2 min
    Error 680- Insure the blackberry is plugged into the computer properly
    Error 633- There are multiple USB connections into the computer. Insure the blackberry is the only one hooked up
    Error 734- Usually something in the initialization command is incorrect

    If your having any other error messages, call tmobile @ 1800-937-8997 and ask for tier 3 data support
