That didn't work.... sadly..... I actually found out from another form that if you have the latest software on your phone from Verizon they make it so you have to use there service to get ring tons! Which i need to get my poor phone repaired and no more free ring tons for me cause they updated the phones software! But any ways thanks for the help and just to give every one else warning don't update your phones software.

Just text yourself the sound file. Then it will ask you to save it as a ringtone.

I got my ring tone off a free site and i can't seem to get it to register under ring tones but it does register itself as a my sounds..... and it wont give me the option to do anything else... Any one know how to get it so it is on the ring tones section?

I'm having the same problem. When I got my phone updated at the Verizon store I came out with a few new ringtones in my sounds but I can't get them over either. Is it necessary to download them to the computer then back to the phone?

Have you tried to do the trick with the 555 number yet to see if that works?

I know its for the verizon 815, but try it for your phone and see if that will work. The link is located -----> HERE
