    i strongly disagree..
i have been an optus customer for many years, but never again.

They are dishonest and misleading, impossible to get an answer from and just pass you from a department to department with no regard for your time.

8 weeks ago my phone was stolen, but i was not worries becaue i was insured. I then called optus to make a claim, at this stage they informed me that i dont have insurance. As it happens they just cancelled it, without asking or telling me. Then they admited fault (in early april) and said that they will fix it in no time.

It has been 7 weeks (end of may), countless hours on the phone with various departments, and still NOTHING

i will never purchase anything from Optus especialy insurance,... so be warned, the insurance is not worth the paper it is printed on.

Are you serious??? Do you work for them??? I have used several different carriers and I can honestly say I have coughed up better things than optus!!! Their charges are expensive, their service is patchy (if you can ever get them to activate your phone) and the men working in the call centre are CREEPY!!!! I would rather use two tin cans and a piece of string for communication.

I can't complain about Optus (yet haha). I'm on the $79 cap so I get $550 for calls and unlimited text.

With Telstra, I was on a $40 plan and was paying well above that per month.

I am totally agree with you... That;s why now i switch it to voda.
I think they are the winner coz they covers huge coverage and promote their services to not only in main city but also in small city. Plus they have been in this business longer than other service provider such as three.

I just changed over from Telstra to Optus for prepaid. Their deals are much better and more frequent, and actually seem to reward customer loyalty.

The Optus Zoo is disappointing for me though; the game downloads suck - where are the Gameloft titles, etc.?
