I doubt anyone will see the iPhone at $99.
It is a small possibility that a iPhone nano or something like that may be $99 or around that price point, but I still doubt it.

There still isn't any iPods with screens that are $99.

in brazil, prices go from U$ 500 to U$1.000, due to operator and long contracts...

i would say it could be a little while longer, i wonder with the economy crisis was taken into account

Wow is that with a one year or a two year contract. I love t-mobile and don't want to switch i wonder if the unlocked phones would be cheaper? Will it have all of the same features or will it be a slimmed down cheaper version?

They will be coming out with a 99.99 Iphone, Only thing that will change is it will only be 4Gig....Seen it on Apple, Also it would be sold at Walmart. I think it starts just after christmas, Dec. 28

$99 seems to be a ridiculously low price but then who knows. I personally believe they Apple will come out with an upgrade and maintain the price at $199.

It could but I'm sure they will just release a more advanced model. Why would they sell themselves short when they can release a new model with more features or faster insides that people will still pay $199 for?

Yes, I agree. I would definitely buy one for that price. Either that or update the iPhone to include picture messaging and receiving (not through e-mail), flash, zoom, video recorder, plus different colors, then I'd buy one for its current price!

Possible but doubtful... In order for Jobs to still make a profit he'd need to make parts much cheaper, esp. the $60 application processor! Even if there was a $99 IPhone, it prolly wouldn't look much like the IPhone we all know and love (well, a few of us anyhow)
