Also with my verizon phone when i used a site such as myxer.com for ringtones i had to download it to my computer then email it to my phone as a picture message and save it the way i mentioned above. With sprint it sends the link to my phone and i have to access the internet to retrieve the ringtone. I dont have a plan with internet is there any other way to do this?
You can send ringtones/pictures/.jar's to your phone via Rumkin's online tool. Since I can't post links just google "Rumkin sprint pcs" it will be the first link.

Note the files will have to be sent to your computer first, then sent to your phone from there.

Also the site is down at the time of this post, but it should be back up soon.

Basically, IMHO, saving ringtones via picture mail is insane!
Most Sprint phones allow you transfer ringtones from your media card to the phones ringtone folder.
You'd put the tunes on the card via card reader.
When you post your phone info, you will get more answers.
BTW, Welcome to Sprint. IMHO, Customer service is questionable, but the rates, plans, and service are good enough to keep me happy.
