I am not really interested in the enV2, but I am seriously considering the Voyager, along with the Dare. I liked the Glyde because I looks more like a Dare, but has the real qwerty. Kinda a compromise between the voyager and dare, at least in terms of looks. I'm really having a hard time deciding which I want! I have to decide tomorrow....

    I personally like the Glyde.

In testing, I have played with it about 2 hours. It ranks pretty high compared to most similar phones...but...the Voyager beats it big time.

It doesn't have that much of a buggy touch screen, like people report. Remember, when people report cell phone issues...they generally way over report/exaggerate. The Glyde isn't a bad phone.

    The Good:

    • Full keyboard
    • Superior Call Quality
    • A lot of features
    • An easy to use, but standard, interface
    • HTML Browser

    The Bad:

    • Horrible Picture Quality
    • Small display, not so great for what the touch screen needs to do
    • If you use mobile email, don't with this phone...it isn't that great!

It isn't a bad device, but it needs improvements. Its interface isn't properly designed for the type of touch screen it has. This phone is stylish, if you like it like that!

I wouldn't tell you to not get the Glyde, because it is exceptional.

Have you looked into the LG Voyager? enV2?

Is the Samsung Glyde a good phone? I heard there were a lot of problems with it originally, but have they been fixed with updates? I really like the phone, but I don't want to get a piece of junk. What are some of the pros and cons of the glyde?
