There is a new product coming out that InPlay Technologies has created that will allow users of capacitive touch screen devices to be able to use a pen for any input. Of course, fingers have been used for the input which leads to difficulty in handwriting recognition. InPlay's WriteSense technology has an active RF digital pen that will provide the precision, accuracy and speed of pen, but will also let users to use their fingers for general input. WriteSense also entails changes to screen technology on devices such as tablet PCs, but InPlay expects to see the technology used in mobile phones, as well.
