I had nokia firmware version 4.00 by default !
Recently i updated to the latest version (4.86 that is) !
after updating, all applications that used to access my memory card or phone memory, creates problems.

When i go to any application and then go to options an then select 'Application access' and then want to give permissions for reading and writing to memory....i cant i.e. no options can be selected except 'not allowed'.

Even if i select other option like Ask every time, it says settings are being saved ....but then reverts back to not allowed

Previously before updating all the apps used to run (there were options to select 'ask every time' and others) ...but now there seems no way i can give an application access to my memory !!

HELP !!


I even tried REUPDATING and then RESTORING my files...but no avail
