    Although The G1, which is also named the Dream, was released in the US in October last year, carriers in Australia had no plans at the time to offer the in-demand phone.

    It looks like Optus Mobile Technical Support Centre staff have been issued with the "HTC: Dream (G1) Manual". The document details how to use the phone.
    Some Australians already have the G1 thanks to the phone being sold through eBay;

    If or when this phone become available in Australia, is still yet unkown.
