I agree with quality factor of N96... But its features are good and stylish also.... i'll give 7/10 rating....

N96 is a great phone, though it is true that the quality of build is questionable, still I would trust Nokia. You have 2 year warranty and probably you will buy a new phone in 2 years time. So I personally would buy N96 if I had enough money.

I think the N85 is actually more appealing.
Hmm the wife said she found the buttons a bit on the cheap side when she was messing in a local phone shop, but I presumed she had been using a dummy display model (which always are like that).

Do the buttons really feel that cheap? If so may have to start looking at alternatives again.

Im looking for a nice mobile for the missus for the new year, and vaying between the one she has already seen and liked, the Samsung Tocco, the seemingly well specced LG Renoir, and the seemingly amazinging Nokia N96.

Its quite a bit bulkier than the Tocco, but it seems to do an awful lot more.

How have peoples experiences with the Nokia N96 been? Is it a good solid phone, like Nokia normally build? Especially interested in finding out how stable and smooth the software is.

    Tks in advance.
