T-mobiles 3g service is not compatible with the iPhone 3g... so the 3g service wouldn't work

It would be an extra $45 a month for me to have an I-Phone 3G with AT&T

I got my T-Mobile service yesterday, and my I-Phone should be here on Thursday or Friday.

If I had an iPhone 3G I would want it to have Verizon can you do that or is it strictly T-Mobile?

    I Actually have a 2g iPhone 8gb.... and it's unlocked & jailbroken...

I pay about $70 a month for 1000 minutes, 400 text, free night & weekends, and unlimited data...

T-mobile sucks though!!!.. You should just buy an iPhone 3G... and pay the extra $20 a month for AT&T... 3G is WELL worth it!!!..

I'm switching to AT&T in about a month... because T-mobile sucks in my area, and T-Mobile's 3G won't work with the iPhone 3g...

    Ahh well though?!?!...

round 300 hundred. i signed up w/att paid 99 for the iphone, had the cheapest plan for a month, then cancelled the contract and paid the term fee of 175... so the phone was 100, the plan was about 40 bucks after pro-rate, and the term fee was 175...give or take a few bucks.

you proby cant do this now. as any new phone you get from att is likely to have 2.2.1 on it, and the new firmware, so you cant even unlock it anymore.

Alright it is time for me to get a new phone and a new plan. I have been asking people for months what phone I should get and everyone tells me the I-Phone. So I am like awesome I will look into it. Turns out I can get the I-Phone and have at&t service plan but it will cost me about $90 a month, now I don't know about you guys but that is a lot for a cell phone bill. So I started searching around and found that you can unlock an I-Phone and use T-mobile service. So I looked into T-Mobile, and saw all together I would have to pay $55 for a plan that I want. $55 is a fine price in my book. Only problem I am having is, what features(if any) are not going to work with the T-mobile service? Which IPhone should I get 2G or 3G? How will I use the internet with the Iphone and T-mobile, will it take my minutes? What is your experience using an IPhone with T-Mobile? Any pros I should know about? Any Cons I should know about? And finally where should I buy the IPhone to use with T-Mobile?
    All responses are greatly appreciated!!
