    Your provider wants to sell you a 'GPS application' to give you directions. They don't want you do to it for free, basically. In less you can write an ap to translate the location that is output from the triangulation mechanism into a google maps coordinate, then you're not going to easily do it.

    Well, Sorry my phone isn't to the same grade as yours. It's a tad bit more affordable for me (two words: College Student).

    I'm not dumb; I'm just trying to figure out how to track a phone that ISN'T GPS-based.

    Hey Everyone:

    I wrote a post about this issue on my home site (see my homepage from clicking my username... I'm a noob here and am not allowed to post links....) Called "US Cellular Fiasco"

    I have a Samsung SCH-R610. I set the Location from "911 Only" to "On".

    Anyway to access the phone info? Is this a US Cellular (my cell phone carrier) thing (they didn't help me out much, but I can always try harder).
