    I just didn't know if the Curve had that same function as the Storm did (Play in and out of holster).

    Of course you can, but when sliding the handset out of the holster it will stop it from ringing, just like your storm, i think you are correct Dragon, the magnet on the holster stops it from ringing.

    Also, do you have the holster with the magnet on it to put the phone into sleep mode? If you do, that's the problem, the magnet switches the phone on, and also turns the ringer off as it assumes your answering the call. At least that's what my storm does.

    My 8350i is also set up that way by default, haven't found a way to change it, not even by editing.

    I believe all you have to do is go into your sound settings and edit them so that it plays while it's out of the holster.
    Go to the sound settings and then the advanced options.
    Select the profile you want press the button on the left beside the green call button.
    Scroll down hit edit and edit.
    I hope this helps some, if not. Someone around here can definitely help out.

    I just got the Curve 8330 from Verizon and my ringtone stops playing when I remove the phone from my holster.. any way to stop this from happening and have it continue to play after I remove it??
