If you want at least a personal high-quality ringtone (can't be applied to your contacts), you can follow the tutorial I wrote on my blog at:

    jasondenney.com/nokia-6205-dark-night-edition-custom-ringtone-hack-tutorial/

(I can't put the hyperlink because I'm a new member)

Basically, you save the song as a MP4 video file and put it into the "my_flix" folder on the phone. I don't know why Verizon lets you put videos as ringtones.

    Hope this helps,

Maybe you could convert them first. That always works for me.

Are you with Rogers by any chance?

I believe the ringtones have to be in midi or WAV format.

I have a Nokia 6205 and I have three ringtones that I made and are 15-30 seconds long in an MP3 format. I have downloaded them to the MicroSD and then into the phone on Songs, Music, and Playlists. I can access all three of the pieces and play them but I cannot figure out how to move them to the Ringtone category in order to use them as Ringtones. Help!
