What makes you think it is a viruses!
I never heard of a viruses on a Sony Ericsson before but yes it's common with Nokia's.
If the phone is running slow or you just can't access a file or similar it is more offen then not a software glitch so a software upgrade or reload should help but this will wipe any data from the phone.

It might be a long shot, but perhaps try upgrading / re-applying the phone's firmware? You are effectively re-installing the phone's operating system - and when you re-install Windows on a PC for example, it will clear any viruses present. The only other thing I can suggest is sending it back for service, although I doubt they will be able to do much more, since re-applying firmware is pretty much the best you can do to sort out a phone with a software bug...

If the phone gets the virus I am talking of the stored files such as music, songs, pictures, videos etc would disappear and the mobile would be too slow when it operates.

One of my friends Sony mobile has been infected with a virus. We tried different methods but we cannot remove it. When we consulted the service provider he said that the information in the mobile would be lost while cleaning. Is there any other way available to remove virus without erasing the content in the mobile.
