hey guys. vibrate on incoming calls and messages is now working. basically restarted it by removing the battery and putting it back in. i removed the battery coz the phone went off and can't turn it on using the power button on top. after that got surprised vibrate was already working already. i hope it stays that way and the phone won't hang anymore.

Hi Hengda, so far, for some of the settings, i.e. playing dice, some touchscreen settings, the vibrate mode is working. it seems there's a bug in the program and the vibrate doesn't work for the incoming calls and messages, even if i've tried several settings (including using the volume buttons). guess i'll just go to the nearest samsung center to have it checked. thanks.

Um, not sure if this is the answer

but me and another friend had omnia for 3 months or so. mine was perfectly fine, but he had the same problem you guys are describing after a while. basically it was the wiring for the vibration inside phone came lose or something close. really will suggest you guys get a look at, where you purchased the omnia.

hoped that helped, 80% sure it might be broken.

i have the same problem. actually the vibrate mode on incoming texts or calls doesn't work at all for my phone.

    my settings right now are:
    1. i'm using widget
    2. start/settings/personal/sounds and notifications / notifications / event: phone: incoming call. Ring type: vibrate
The icon at the top is also set to vibrate
Settings/personal/vibration/call alert / is at rhythmic vibration 1

    Could anyone help here?

    Many thanks.

Anybody know if it is possible to have the phone ring and Vibrate at the same time. Most of my other phones did it and I am still learning this great phone by Samsung.
