first go to usb connection and click on mass storage.second to put music on your phone try putting them in your sounds file and not the music file in the external memory. When your done putting all your music into the sounds file you then have to right click on the removeable disc wea your phones connected to and click on safely remove. ifs theres two removeable discs the safely wont work you'll have to try the other one. It should work cause i tried ages to put music on my phone then when i put them into the sounds file on my memory card it worked. I hope this helps you out

    Guys,
I got the stuff about wives wanting it done right away, and I was able to bluetooth the vcf cards to other files in Mystuff, but when I "save". It still isn't in the Contacts List. What am I missing?

Does anyone know of any software that will sync Outllook calendars and contacts with the LG cf360?

I need to update periodically and the previous solutions work, although they are very time consuming.

Nokia has a free suite that did this VERY well. Maybe I should have stayed with a Nokia
Your assitance would be Greatl appreciated.

Here is a workaround I found for getting your contacts from Outlook into your LG CF360:

To perform this task you need a microSD Card.

    With Outlook 2007
    1. Plug your phone (as USB mass storage) or microSD Card using a card reader.
    2. Open Outlook 2007
    3. Select contacts you want to load to your phone
    4. Right Click and select Send Full Catacts, vCard
    5. E-mail these contacts to yourself (Antivirus Software might block this e-mail but you should able to open them from Sent Item)
    6. Receive e-mail or open from Sent Items and move attachment vCard to your MicroSD card (create Temp Folder).
    7. Place microSD car into your phone and turn it on
    8. On the phone, go to My Stuff -> Other Files. You will see all the .vcf files, and for each you can chose "Save in Contact", which will bring you in edit mode, and you can press Save at that point.

    With Outlook 2003
    1. Plug your phone (as USB mass storage) or microSD Card using a card reader.
    2. Open Outlook 2003
    3. Select contacts you want to load to your phone
    4. Hit "return". This will open all the contacts...Make sure you don't select more than 30-40 contacts at a time.
    5. For each contact flick on File menu and select "Export to vCard File". Select "Yes" when prompted and the close the contact. The .vcf files will be saved under C:\Documents and Settings\{your username}\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures folder.
    6. Create a Temp folder on the MicroSD card and copy all these .vcf files into this folder.
    7. Place microSD car into your phone and turn it on
    8. On the phone, go to My Stuff -> Other Files. You will see all the .vcf files, and for each you can chose "Save in Contact", which will bring you in edit mode, and you can press Save at that point.

Long process especially if you have a lot of contacts.

Hope this helps others on the same quest. If you have a better and faster way to do this, please post here.

OK....I found one solution....I figured out how to put music on.

    Insert your micro SD card.

Go under Settings ->Connection -> USB Connection Mode and select option 2 (mass storage)

    Then plug in the cable.

Your PC should be able to recognize the phone as a mass storage device.

Then go into Windows Media Player -> Sync. Your phone should be visible there. Just drag over which ever song you want to put on the phone and hit the "Sync" button.

Your music should be copied over.

Now if only I can figure our how to sync it with contacts in outlook...I'll be all set.

Does anyone on this forum have this phone? I got this for my wife today and going nuts trying to figure out how to sync it with my PC.

I could figure out that I need a micro USB cable (have it now) but what software/drivers? I also got a Kingston MicroSD card for storage.

I want to sync her contacts from outlook and put some music for her

Has anyone figured this phone out? I'm

LG support is non-existent...Their support guy tells me.."LG makes phones to service provider specifications. We do not make any software..."

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
