Japan's 2nd largest carrier, KDDI au, is rolling out 8 new phones for their 2009 summer lineup. Below are the devices.

Toshiba Biblio: Has a 960 x 480 resolution, QWERTY keyboard, Opera Mobile 9.5, 3.5 inch LCD screen.

Sharp Sportio Waterbeat: is a waterproof phone with a calorie tracker, weight controller, 3 in. ASV touchscreen of 480 x 854.

Hitachi Mobile Hi-Vision CAM Wooo: A device that records video and features microSDHC/HDMI Mini interfaces and has a 3 in. IPS screen of 480 x 854

Sharp SOLAR PHONE SH002: A solar powered phone with a 3 in. AVS screen, 5 megapixel camera and microSD card slot.

Toshiba T002: Is a slim GSM phone geared toward women in ther 30's and 40's.

Casio G’zOne W62CA: Is another waterproof phone with LED light, electronic compass and 2.7 in WQVGA screen.

Kyocera K002: Sleek, slim cell phone that looks as if it's geared toward men in their 30's to 40's

Kyocera Kantan Keitai K003: 60 year olds and older would benefit from this standard, easy to use phone.
