    You have a mobile application in C# where somebody can search for some data, then change it; and you want to then update a master database stored somewhere not on the mobile?

    The only thing I can come up with is to use web services, and have the application call a web service when some data changes. Of course you'd have to develop a web service, and deploy it somewhere on the internet that was always available. So make sure you think properly about security...

    A couple more improvements were rolled out today. Some images weren't displaying correctly, but have now been fixed.

    We're pleased to announce that version 1.5 of the Phone Database has been released. You'll find several updates to the system, including:


    • Ability to sort phone and search pages - default is by date added,
      newest ones first - alphabetically by name - most popular
    • Your phone info is now shown in your profile
    • Ability to hide your phone data under edit options
    • Save cell phone carrier now works correctly
    • Links added to your phone info page to comment or ask a question about phone selected
    • Similar phones fixed
    • Similar threads fixed
    • "View members with same phone" link added to phone pages
    • Links added to phone pages to comment on phone or ask a question about a phone
    • Erroneous images cleaned up
