does the Centro have blue tooth? you could always send that way if I am not mistaken.

I got lucky and was able to save all my contacts to yahoo and then import them into my rant that way.

    Best of luck!!!

I did sync with the Palm software, but don't use out look. I saved it in dba format. So it should be importable. Just haven't found any software to use. I'll try your suggestion. Tho the old fashion way is a PITA, since there are over 200 contacts.
    Thanks for the reply.

Err ... are you sure? Maybe you want a little while to think about it?

Anyway, if you were smart enough to use the Palm Desktop software to sync your data with Outlook, you could buy a product from a company like Data Pilot to sync Outlook with the Rant.

Or, if the Centro is also a Sprint phone, you could probably take both phones to a Sprint store and see if a technician can use a Cellbrite machine to transfer the contacts for you. They might charge a fee for that, though.

You might also see what formats the Palm Desktop will allow you to export your Centro data to. Would it be compatible with BitPim? If so, you could use BitPim to import that data to your Rant.

But, in the time honored tradition, the most common way people have moved contacts from a dumb phone to a smart phone or visa versa is by hand.

    Good luck with this!

Did you have your blackberry synced with outlook? Do you at least have a csv of your contacts?

    Greetings,
I have recently bought a new Samsung Rant (SPH-m540). My old phone was a Blackberry Curve, which I have all my contacts from. I have been trying to transfer them to my new phone. I have found nothing on this task.
    Can anyone lend a hand.
    Thanks Much!
