And just so you know if you wish to use your iPhone as a High Speed modem you need to at least have 1GB of data. So jump on that 6GB for $30.00 Promo!
$5.00 for an extra 5.5gb of data is a waste of money if it isn't being used. But yes, if constantly going over 500mb then the 6GB option is a wise decision

I have this simple question, I took the 60$ Iphone plan and I'm wondering what does this mean Data transmission 400 MB ?

Does it mean I'm only allowed to use 400MB then I pay extra? or its the speed for the internet I will be getting?
Or is the internet unlimited with this plan? cause it says this Fido and Rogers Hotspots Wi-Fi Unlimited.

I don't really understand, if you can clarify me it would be great!
I don't wanna have one of those big bills to pay because I roam too much on the internet.

    Thanks!
if you have an Iphone take the 6GB data option $30 offer until July 1st 2009..
if you took the $60 iphone pp, then you only get 500MB per month for accessing webpages.. if you go over then you par $0.03 per MB over your first 500 MBs..
soulds like you changed you price plan in the middle of your billing cycle and got charged for over usage or its your first bill and did not have your full 500MBs yet...
in my time working with the iphone it is recomended for you take at least 1GB
for each month unless you use wifi alot.. use the data option when you don't have access to wifi or when you may have a weak wifi conection... the iphone will drop a wifi conection so its best you have that data option to protect your pocket $$$..

internet on your phone will never be unlimited browsing, there is always a cost to it and infact is the most expencive way to access the internet threw your wireless device

Your plan includes 400mb of data per month. Fido and Rogers hotspots are unlimited. (Those are located in coffee shops, airports, etc. but you must manually connect to them) After 400mb you pay by the mb, but the additional data is at a much lower rate than non data subscribers.
