##3282# will get you into the 3G programming menu, but you need the MSL code, which can only be obtained by Sprint.

Also, you can try this. It came from a Sprint Programming forum, so this may not work with Solo, it may.

How do I program my Sanyo® Katana LX?
    NOTE:
This article assumes you have completed the steps in How do I activate my phone online? and that you printed or have access to the Activate your new phone page.
    NOTE:
If you prefer to activate your phone with assistance from Customer Care, go to How do I activate my phone online using chat?
To program your phone, perform the following steps:
    1. If necessary, press and hold the red End key to turn on the phone.
    2. Press the Menu/OK key.
    3. Select Settings, select More, select Data, and then select Update Profile. The message The network is preparing your services. Please wait appears.
    4. When the message Device Configuration has completed appears, press the Left Softkey to select OK.
    5. Press and hold the End key to turn off the phone.
    6. Turn the phone back on again. The phone is ready to make voice, data and Direct Connect® calls. If the phone is still not working, continue with the next step.
    7. If you have a new phone that has never been activated:

    * Press ##, type the One Time 6-digit code from the Programming Details section of the Activate your new phone page, and then press # again. The last # will not show on the screen.

    Example: ##123456#

If you have a used phone that has previously been activated:

    * Press ##, type the Secondary 6-digit code from the Programming Information section of the Activate your new phone page, and then press # again. The last # will not show on the screen.

    Example: ##123456#

    8. In the Service Program screen, scroll to Edit, and then select OK.
    9. Enter your 10-digit phone number from the Programming Information section on the Activate your new phone page.
    NOTE:
Entering new numbers will clear out any numbers currently displayed.
    10. Select OK.
    11. In the MSID screen, enter the 10-digit MSID number from the Programming Information section of the Activate your new phone page.
    12. Select OK. The Service Program screen appears.
    13. Scroll to Done, and then select OK. The phone will automatically turn off, and then turn back on again.

Hey, something has happened to my phone (It is unclear what exactly happened)
but now my phone will not connect to my network
after looking through the Katana's menus, I found that SID, Channel, Technology, and Frequency all have "------" in their values
Since I am with solo (Bell mobility) my SID must be 16420, i believe i remember my channel as well, the technology is Digital and the frequency was either 1800MHz or 1900MHz.
I also know the reverse logistic code (##786#) as well as my MSL number.
Is there anyway to edit this data manually so as to avoid sending it in for 5-8weeks of repair.
Also, do you think that those shady phone unlocker people would be able to do it if i cannot? (i dont have a usb for my phone so i am relying on all of the cellphone sodes)
    thanks alot
