I know this is an old thread, but I've been having problems getting pictures off my LG VX8700 using BitPim. I can see all of the "stock" images, but nothing that I've saved to the phone's internal memory from the camera. (I don't have an SD card installed.)

There's no "Move" option for pictures, and the phone won't let me set storage to External (it says, "no external memory" when I try)... So that method didn't work.

Any ideas how I can get to internally saved pics with a USB cable? (My bluetooth doesn't seem to be working - not sure if it's my laptop or my phone that is screwed up. Neither can discover the other.)

EDIT: o.k., I discovered /Brew/mod/10888. So I managed to get the pix off the phone, at any rate. Still, it's sort of a pain in the ass either xferring them one at a time, or waiting for BitPim to zip up the whole folder, then digging through to figure out which are new. It would be great to have a method for one (or two) click sync, like with all the other elements on the phone.

Also, all the dates on the pictures as shown in BitPim seem to be screwed up. They're all off by 10 years, 3 days, and 8 hours. (Even though they're correct in the phone.)

The USB Mass Storage mode that the2ndflood mentioned is NOT available on the VX8700, requires a MicroSD card, and can only read/write the MicroSD card and not pix stored in the phone's memory.
Yeah, see this is why you have a web site devoted to Verizon tricks and hacks and I don't. So many of these things related to Verizon are still a mystery to me.

I don't know anything about that phone, but I know with the Voyager you have to set the phone to "USB Mass Storage" in order to transfer content like that from your phone, to your computer. You can also use Bitpim. With Bitpim though, you would transfer all of the photos to your computer, then copy them to a new folder, then you would have to delete the photos manually off of your phone.
