I love Vertu phones so I am not surprised that they have come up with Green phones.
Can you imagine 24/7 concierge at your disposal ? However, the prices of these phones are way out of my budget

That phone isn't made with green products. It just has a low resolution screen that saves a little bit of power...not a huge asset to the planet.

There is no denial that we are living in a world with growing awareness of environmental protection. Green technology is being embraced more and more within the tech industry. The mobile phone industry seems to be lagging behind the rest of the tech world in going green.
Sony Ericsson recently launched its attempt at green handsets. Its global marketing director said at the time: “It’s not about making normal phones green, it’s about making green phones normal.” In Europe, Vertu has launched a concept phone: Vertu Essence, an environment friendly concept model of Vertu for
    2015.
EU legislation on the proper disposal and recycling of mobile phones and components is becoming more prominent and there is a rise in the collection of electrical waste.
But the step to green mobile industry is slow. both the phone manufacturer, consumer and mobile businesses need to get on board to work and reduce damage to the environment.
