    Hi All,
I have tried all the above ways but my battery performance is too bad still. I kept around 7hrs charging last night but still it is not fully charged i don't know why? and charging it now as it is at 10%. I bought my mobile a week back, so everything is new and i haven't installed any apps as of now.I am literally wired about its battery performance.

Guys please helpme out in this.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Sri

I think lower your backlight is a good way for it is not only make your battery lasts longer but also protect your eyes.

I definitely agree. I have noticed that when I have my WiFi on it drains my battery quick. Half a day & just dies. But if I leave it off, I can surf the web & talk and text a good day & a half. I love my Storm 2. I did try the visual voice mail but the people at Verizon couldn't ever get it to work for me. So I figured it wasn't worth it all.

My experience has been that WiFi is a huge draw on power. On mobile devices particularly, I always recommend that users turn off WiFi when not actively using it. In other words, turn it on, do what you need to do, and turn it off. Some mobile devices allow you to change signal receptivity/sensitivity, which can have a significant effect on power consumption. Increased receptivity == increased power drain. If you want push email, don't use WiFi; that's what data plans are for. Generally, push email will work even if your device is in a low power state--you should at least receive notifications of new mail.

Yes, most definetly close out programs when done. Other than that, just turn off all functions that you don't need to save your battery. Surfing the web will drain a lot of battery too.

My storm battery would die really fast I thought it was just all storms but my battery was just weak. But I was able to buy a new one for only $10 pretty sweet. Now it works just fine and doesnt die halfway through the day.

Also, I don't know if anyone else has already said this or not, but any applications you use such as text, camera, facebook games, anything like that always close them out, this saves you're battery I didn't have to change all that other stuff and my battery life on my storm is great simply because I close out everything. It's a hassle at first I won't lie, but once you start doing it you'll get in the hang out it and you don't even notice you're doing it after awhile!
