I love you! That totally worked! What a design flaw for evil DRM users

Yes, yes -- success! Follow the video above. It worked for me. I downloaded the mp3 file off of the computer, used a miniSD to transfer it to my phone, and then the video's instructions to set it as my ringtone. What a backwards way of doing it -- but it works!

Okay! I found a really helpful video that showing you how to do it. is actually working for others! So im pretty sure it will work for your too!

Okay these steps are really simple! its doesn’t not take you a long time to do it! and no need to convert anything or download any software! This information is from a frech website, but there is a girl who had translate and show that is actually working.

Once again, I don’t take any credit for this, I’m just simply found it when I’m searching about DRM file for my friend.

This is the website that has video in it! Hope that I have help u in some way!

Got fed up waiting for answer in here!
Called LG on their ' 800 ' number and asked
about this ' DRM ' file crap.
They said that it is a programming choice by the
    provider, which I doubt.
So then called Rogers. They took about 20 minutes
to give me an answer, but this is what they had told
me was that it was a marketing choice. It is in place on certain phones
to generate revenue. Which means that you have to
purchase ringtones, sound effects, ect.. from them.
There is at least for now no program that will
allow you to do what you would do with your
phone, like use songs, rintones from where-
ever or how ever you apply them to your NEON.
So now I have 2 Neon's I want to RAM down
    their throats.

    shhhhhhesh.

    TE365?

Just in the "humor me" department, try this.

Take one of the ringtones you want to use, and rename it from mymusic.mp3 to mymusic.3gp

Don't convert, just rename, then copy it to your phone. The .3gp will play as if it were an MP3, and that may be a way to get around the DRM.

There is the MSVCP71.dll needed for BitPim. Extract it to your Windows / System32 folder after you close BitPim.
Restart BitPim and you should be good.

OK ... i get that i need DRM encoded files for that ...

ive tried using the sony ericson encoder ..... it wont let me upload the encoded files (via bluetooth anyway ... dont have the cable .... dont know if that'll make a difference)
i tried using CDex and BitPim (as the sticky suggested) .... but the version i have doesnt work because apparently im missing MSVCP71.dll ..... is there ANY way i can actuallly get the ringtones into my phone ???

or any software i need to have before i start using any of these ???
or will it actually make a difference if i get a USB cable??? or a microSD card ???

i would really any and all help .... Please .... and thank you in advance to everyone
