I aslo have a samsung cleo. i got it for my birthday about 1 year and 8 mothns ago. thankfully since im on a 3 year contract i was able to find out i can switch after two years. If anyone is thinking of buying this phone i tell them "don't. its a peice of sh!t" My phone says the music option on the menu doesnt exist and i do have music and pictures in my memory card. My phone restarts after sending multiple messages. Also i have the' white screen of death' like you can get on iPods. And fillanlly sometimes when im texting the letters somehow this they are other letters. like one time my P was accually under the D button. and so on and so forth.

I had the Cleo restarting problem while it was still under one year warranty and they sent it to be basically `reformatted` or `flashed` I guess you might call it. After that it worked fine for about a year then it just recently started doing it again, but now its not under warranty and they won`t let me know how much it will cost to fix without actually sending it away to be fixed! (Bell Mobility) and charging me $40 for the use of their crap loaner phone meanwhile. Instead, I will buy a replacement phone as I`ve had this phone for a year and the manufacturer only guarantees it for on year. OR I was thinking of getting the cable and software to flash it myself- if I can figure out how and find everything I need. Its definitly a software problem though- I remember first they made me go through a series of tests on the phone, and then checked the battery for problems, then finally sent it to be reformatted.

I have had my cleo for about a year and a half. I have the same problem as all of you, where it turns off when you try to send a multiple text. Unfortunately, i have found a new problem; it takes about an hour to turn on! It just keeps showing the white starting graphic and today it took 4 hours to turn on and when it finally did it was out of battery, eventhough i charged it the night before, and turned off again!!!!

Mine doesn't restart anymore...it just doesn't turn off. It used to randomly shut off when I'd send txt messages, not it won't stay turned off!! I'll just it off and within one minute, it turns itself on again!! It won't turn "off" unless it's plugged into the charger

a few weeks after i got mine, it started giving me random symbols without me hitting the function button while texting, it sometimes deletes everything ive typed while writing a message, it would restart every time i sent a multiple text, sometimes the sound wouldnt work and i would have to restart my phone so i could receive calls, then after owning it for about three and a half months, it just totally died. turned its self on and off for hours on end and the screen froze a million times.
i bought a new one cuz i couldnt send it in for repairs... and its starting to do the same things. my mom and i are calling customer service tomorrow and b*tching till we get a different make of phone for free.

This phone sucks. It started to restart everytime I pressed the send button to mulitple people about 3 months into my contract. I've sent it in 6 times now for the same problem. They seem to fix it but it has only been a temporary job. But now i don't know what to do because my warranty runs out near the end of January and theres no way I am paying for the shipment.

I have one of these, Haven't even had it a week and a half and mine has been restarting. I have taken it in for an exchange and so far the exchange phone hasn't done it. I have another problem though. A 2gb memory card will not read in either of the phones I have had, the first phone or the exchange phone. Has anyone been able to get a memory card to work? If so, what size and how?

I have just started having this same problem, did you ever figure out what to do? It started last week when I wanted to send a multiple text, now every time I try to send any kind of text at all my cleo restarts. It's really frustrating and no tech seems to know what to do. If you have any ideas it would be really helpful. Thanks

My cleo does the same thing too but only when I try to send multiple text messages. I was on the phone with support for about an hour but they still can't fix the problem. They say it's a software issue. I'm still waiting for them to call me back.

I bought the Cleo, and i have had it for about 3 and half months... one of those months I had a loner phone because I sent my cleo in because it restarts itself all the time!I sent it in, i just got it back and it still does it! Do any other Cleo owners have this problem?
