maybe the charger is busted? i dunno.. thats what happned toone of my phones and i replaced the charger and it worked fine..

My slider had been sitting in my closet for quite some time unused. Having lost the charger I just forgot about it for a couple of years. I wanted to use it again, so I bought an aftermarket charger.

I hook it up and all I get is the KYOCERA logo in a white screen that flickers after a few seconds and then goes off. It stays off for two seconds and then it does the same thing all over again.

I thought this could be a symptom of a drained battery, so I left it hooked all night.
The next morning nothing had changed. Same on/off screen and NO battery charge indicator on the screen.

The battery gets warm but I can't turn on the phone. I took the batt out and hooked the charger to find out that it does the exact same thing (logo screen and no more).

Could it be that the phone is not recognizing the battery? What's the problem?
