I am happy to know that someone else has a F266. I was beginning to think that I was the only one that had this phone since I haven't found much discussion on this phone in a couple of forums or just searching the internet.

I hate to give you bad news but it not possible. I sent an email directly to Samsung Canada to ask this question and here is their response:

"Thank you for submitting your inquiry to Samsung.
Unfortunately, there is no option to change the softkey for this model"

I totally agree with you on changing the keys to anything but email and internet. I do not want to buy a data plan as I only use the phone as a phone; make calls, receive calls. I have the internet and email at work and home.

I was suspecting that if you 'unlock' or 'unbrand' the phone that it may be possible but if this is the response directly from Samsung then I doubt that is the case.

Pleeeeeaaase HedgehogBB, tell us how to change the soft keys on the Samsung f266!

Can one program a soft key to Call Forward? That is a very useful feature for me.

I have a F266 and I would like to change the left and right soft keys. These are the keys are labeled Email and Internet.

I found out how to change the shortcuts but I don't have email or internet access on this phone but I am always hitting these keys by mistake and thought I would change them to something else.
