Verizon does work under the same technology as Ocean 2 (helio's phones) because they were an MVNO on Sprint's network, which they are still on. Basically, if it was not possible before, its most likely not possible now. I don't know if Helio double locked it phones, such as Boost does, but take it to a store and see if they can give you an unlock or flash it.. doesn't hurt...

ok i want to make sure i have this right. i want to unlock my ocean 2 to use on verizon wireless network. is that possiable since helio is now owned by vergin mobile has that changed anything.
