thank you for your reply, the phone is sim free that i may buy but only if i can use it in luxor egypt, so iwill need to know for certain. thanks again for your help.

I looked around, and it looks like most of the phones and services in Egypt are SIM based. If the phone you have is a CDMA (Non SIM) phone, then it probably won't work there.
Either get an unlocked SIM phone, or a World Phone (has both CDMA and SIM).

hello can anyone help me as i am new to this site, i want to know if i buy the nokia 2330 classic phone wiil it work in luxor egypt. It does say that it is a duel band phone but i want to give it to a friend in egypt so that he can send me pics to me when i get back to britain & ring me and also i want to ring him. the phone is sim free, thanks for your help.
