also if u dont expect it to be fried bcz mine does that after i add songs to it. all u have to do is reset ur phone while card still in and it will read it 65% of the time. by reset i mean battery pull

Fyi- my card was fried. I got a new card and it works like a charm now! Thanks for all the support though.

I am having the same problem. I have a curve. No mattwer if I format it on my bb or my computer, neither is working. I bought 2 bbs the same day and of course I got my fiance's working but not mine. I have the same memory card for both and mine is not working! After I get the memory card formatted it looks like it will download songs, but then after I download 1 (which it says works fine) when I try to do the next one it says "media manager (not responding)". I am going to start throwing stuff soon. please help!

You can try this. On your blackberry go to Options -> Media Card. See if the media card is detected by your Blackberry device. You can also format the media card as needed by clicking on the "Blackberry" button.

If not, format it in a computer and try again
