I have had an LG Shine (cu720) from AT&T since February of 2009 I bought a 4 GB Micro SDHC card which came with an adapter and it has worked great ever since. The only problem that I have with my phone is that just recently my phone fell on the cement driveway and broke the LCD display, not the glass but the LCD display screen :-( .

Would you mind giving me a quick tutorial on how to do this? I have a 2gb microsd card, and reader coming soon, and would like to transfer a few songs to my phone..Thanks in advance !!

I know how to copy and paste music to a card, but not so sure on "synching" it through Windows Media...

Edit: Nevermind, I managed to get it done.... Now, to find an adapter to plug my regular headphones in. Anyone know of a place that sells such an adapter?

The USB chip on the LG shine is also really slow, by the way. It's likely slower doing transfers than a cheap adaptor you can get. LG and other vendors seem to be realizing the slowness and importance of sideloading more so you can see an improvement in the Viewty. some blogger did up benchmarks if you're curious one ell, please» Blog Archive » Deathly Slow Phones - UI, Sideloading

I did a bit of research on this when I was looking for a microsd card. According to the sandisk website, the microsd cards hold up to 2gigs. While the microsdhc cards hold up to 8gigs. The LG shine is only compatible with microsd cards, and not the newer microsdhc cards. So that means your max capacity for this phone is 2gigs. I know, it sux. =X

Can the LG Shine CU720 support an 8GB SD Card or is that too big?
