You can have a look at this: Iphone
Pros: easy to use, tons of cool free apps like tap tap revenge (awesome), great integration with google maps, sweet display, and, well, it's an ipod!
Cons: Big, nont customaziable. not many professional software available (such as medical programs).

Fuze
Pros: WM, syncs easily with your PC and outlook contacts/calendar/tasks/etc. QWERTY keyboard. WM OS is hugely customizable and tweakable, making it truly 'your' phone. Has office mobile so you can look through your powerpoint lectures on the bus, write your paper on teh go, etc.
Cons: Heavier/thicker than iphone. Not an iphone!

you should just go ahead and get the iphone.

I'm debating getting either a Fuze or an iPhone.
Due to the required data plan for the iPhone, is there any way I can get net on the Fuze and save money over the iPhones required plans? This would be with locked phones on the ATT network.
