    The Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone, Acer F1, has been seen in some previous photos and was unofficially unannounced. Microsoft has just officially announced the launch of the Acer F1 for October 6.

    Some of the features and specs of the Acer F1 are: 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.8 inch touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels, accelerometer, quad-band GSM and tri-band HSPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP autofocus camera, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM.

    The price for the Acer F1 for the UK will be approximately £295 ($482)
